Frontend Engineer
About the role
Gallop Intelligence
You’ll help build the UI/product experience for an enterprise secure AI platform—where “progress” and “uncertainty” have to be communicated clearly, and where reliability matters because Fortune 500 systems are on the line. If you like shaping product DNA from the ground up (not just filling in screens), this is a rare seat: you’ll own end-to-end human-agent workflows and ship them into real, highly secure environments.
Also a fit if you call yourself: Frontend Engineer, UI Engineer, Product Engineer
The Work
- Own end-to-end UI workflows for human-agent collaboration—define what belongs in the interface, how users understand what’s happening, and how they move forward when the system is unsure.
- Design and build performant, responsive experiences that feel fast and trustworthy, even when the underlying enterprise environment is complex and constrained.
- Architect critical user experiences across the full flow (not just components), partnering closely with the team that’s building the platform underneath.
- Ship, measure, and iterate—turn real usage and feedback into concrete UI improvements, with a bias toward reliability over demos.
- Work directly with top enterprise customers to understand what “works in production” means for their workflows, security expectations, and operational realities.
What You’ll Need
- You have 5+ years of frontend experience and have shipped production frontend using TypeScript + React (and you can point to the work you owned).
- You think in user workflows, not isolated screens—able to map a journey and design the UI to support it.
- You care about performance and responsiveness and can explain the tradeoffs you make to keep experiences snappy.
- You can move through ambiguity: pick a direction, build the smallest useful thing, and tighten it as you learn.
- You have high standards for engineering quality—the kind that shows up in how you structure code, handle edge cases, and keep things maintainable.
Even Better If
- You’ve built UI for complex systems (admin tools, workflow-heavy products, or enterprise software) where correctness and clarity matter.
- You’ve worked in environments with security/compliance constraints and understand how that affects product and engineering decisions.
Who Thrives Here
- You’re at your best when you can own a workflow end-to-end, from “what should the user see?” to “does it actually work reliably in the real world?”
- You communicate with clarity and precision, especially when the system’s behavior isn’t perfectly deterministic—your UI helps users understand what’s going on.
- You like building with real constraints (not hypothetical ones), and you’re comfortable iterating quickly while still holding the bar for quality.
The Team + Comp
You’ll join a team building an AI platform for enterprise system modernization—moving fast, but with the discipline required to deploy inside large organizations. You’ll work closely with engineers and product partners to turn customer workflows into UI that’s both usable and dependable.
